About Me
Hana Lone, M.Sc.
My upbringing has allowed me to be raised with a unique and diverse perspective of the world that deeply influences my passion for understanding children. While I was born in Denmark, I grew up in the suburbs of Texas. Gathered around the table we shared many intimate family meals, using our hands to embrace the flavors of our Pakistani heritage. My parents spoke multiple languages at home, primarily Urdu and Danish. Danish was their code language, so unfortunately for me I never picked up on it.
Growing up with a younger sister enabled me to be both teacher and mentor. Playing dolls, making home-videos, and having cooking competitions with my father as the judge are just some of the many memories that speak to the warmth, creativity, and love that made up my childhood.
My father is a doctor and instilled in me a love for acquiring knowledge. Accompanying him to work and meeting his patients are some of my most precious and valuable memories. These experiences sparked my love for science and keen interest in learning more about other humans from a very young age.
As the years passed, my childhood love for science led to a burning desire to better understand the intricacies of the human mind. In 2022, I attained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Working at a childcare center while in university was where I discovered my true calling. Being enveloped in the sweet innocence, warmth, and boundless potential of each child at the care center filled me with energy and love. It became clear to me that my educational journey was far from its conclusion. I knew in my heart that I wanted to continue working with and learning about children, in hopes of one day having a childcare center of my own.
Within my field, I am dedicated to nurturing and empowering young minds through teaching, mentoring, and curating child-centric environments. I believe together we can change the world, one child at a time.
